I live and work in a small English market town called Ashby-de-la-Zouch. I share my house with three sons and a husband.

My career began in design and illustration, later moving to children's picture books. I have illustrated over 35 titles, and have been published and translated in more than 11 languages. I love school visits and riding my bicycle.

My recent work includes illustration for 'Winners Never Quit' (Mia Hamm, Harper Collins USA) 'My Mom's Having a Baby'(Dori Hillestad Butler, Albert Whitman), and 'Twice the Fun' (Beverley Cleary , Harper Collins).
